4 Wales Rural Network The purpose of the Wales Rural Network is to: Group together the organisations and administrations involved in rural development in Wales; To facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge; Transfer knowledge on best practice Support the implementation and evaluation of rural development policy; Secure and coordinate the flow of information between the local, national and European levels.

5 Key Tasks Identify and disseminate examples of good practice Support for inter-territorial and transnational cooperation Establish and support Thematic Groups Support cross-axis working within the RDP Provide support, information and training to Local Action Groups Set up of website, database and partner search facilities Play a key role in the establishment of the UK Rural Network; feed into EU Network
