28 How do we operate as ISO As each institute, ISO has a Manager External Relations As each institute, ISO has an External Relations Office

29 Manager External Relations The Manager External Relations is a staff member who: Represents, in coordination with the other managers, Rotterdam University and the Institute in the outside world Acts as an intermediary for external and internal parties that seek cooperation Has an advising, initiating and coordinating role within the Institute concerning OIIO policy Develops OIIO policy and the practice driven parts of the curricula Identifies internal and external needs concerning relationship issues/assignments Identifies external commercial needs Participates in a Rotterdam University wide network

30 External Relations Office Practice driven activities in all study programmes are being coordinated, administrated and evaluated by this office matching students with practice-based educational activities customer relationship management expertmeetings …… Manager and Bureau are responsible for carrying out the OIIO policy
