Poverty Reduction and empowerment of the poor and the vulnerable Outreach and Exchange Programs Distressed/ disadvantaged underprivileged communities & victims of calamities, conflicts, wars 8,627 (# of beneficiaries) 25 (# of programs) 194 (# of artists/trainors featured) ongoing Highlights for 2015: Badong: Salvador Bernal Designs the Stage: National Exhibit tour- Sites: UPLB, Angeles Pampanga Total Audience: 3,897 Kaisa Sa Sining-establishment of CCP’s active regional-satellite partners in at least three (3) educational institutions or NGO’s or LGU’s per region by formalizing its cooperation as the CCP’s Regional Art Centers (RACs) and/or University Art Associates (UAAs) thru a Three- Year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The 2nd batch of CCP grantees are:Diverse Initiative Bicolano Arts, Naga City; Province of Capiz, Holy Name University, Tagbilaran City, City of Calbayog, Samar, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, General Santos, La Salle University, Ozamis City. Arts in the Workplace- strength and advocacy campaign for good governance and social transformation- (Sining sa Tanggapan)- 150 gov’t employees and officials at Bureau of Customs; 70 National Historical Commission of the Phils. Rapid, inclusive & sustained economic growth Training and Education Programs Artistic Programs/ Productions presented and co-presented by CCP Teachers, students, academicians, artists, local communities, LGUs, cultural agencies, Survivors of calamities/armed conflicts 81 (# of programs) 123 (# of shows) 1,523 (# of participants of workshops/forums) 6,880 (# of beneficiaries) ongoing Highlights for 2015: Sining sa Eskwela-aims to provide training of all art forms to teachers who are handling art courses both in elementary and high school levels. Beneficiaries: 210 elem & highschool teachers- Lal-lo, Cagayan; Sining sa Eskwela- Senior HS Arts and Design Track Teachers-286 teachers for K-12 - CCP Venues Sining Alamin- with Dr. Margarita Holmes on Human Sexuality and Theater insights-94 college students, 24 DSWD psychologists, social workers and 11 artists & media; - Sining Alamin Arts Appreciation Tour with Angono Lead School for the Arts Batang Sining Workshop- in creative writing, story-telling, puppetry, theater, visual arts, book making etc. With 54 students/10 teachers- Atimonan, Quezon Cinemalaya Film Institute- a 3-semester intensive education, training & accreditation of practitioners in key aspects of filmmaking such as writing, directing, production, cinematography, editing, sound, production design, music score & acting. Artists Orientation- a one-stop-shop scheme that aims to have the artists/participants gain knowledge on variious gov agency insurance programs on Philhealth, SSS & Pag-Ibig.
