Welcome Mission The Council's mission is to provide leadership for community-based planning and mobilization of resources to best meet health and human service needs Vision The Council is committed to the positive well-being, health and self-sufficiency of the people in the Tulsa area -- furthered by a proactively engaged community of informed stakeholders (policymakers, civic leaders, citizens, service professionals, and others), regularly working together to advance thoughtful, often long term, effective action.

CSC’s Role in the Community Our role...unique and highly valued These roles define the Council's unique place in the community: Trusted convener, facilitating community research, planning and mobilization Source of information and analysis about changing conditions and needs Link to community services Leader for organizing innovative approaches for better coordination, filling critical gaps, and achieving improved outcomes

Our main functions Doing research on specific issues and concerns Gathering, analyzing, and presenting information about conditions and trends Forecasting the challenges ahead Coalition building / collaborative action Community planning Engaging the community to address tough, critical issues Mobilizing sustained community action Community education on trends, issues and opportunities for change Linking people to help

Office Hours The Community Service Council is open from 8:30am- 5:00pm Monday thru Friday Closed for all Federal Holidays Information pertaining to building closures will be communicated through the automated telephone system via text message

Office Space All intern placements will be provided adequate office space with access to technology Each office space will be specific to programmatic and placement needs The HR department can be contacted with an issues concerning physical office space

Supervision Supervision will be arranged in accordance with educational requirements
