Explain Argument, When students eat unhealthy foods like chips, soda or candy, it can cause their body to slow down and make them feel tired and less focused in class.

Example/Elaboration For example, a friend in 6 th grade drank two sodas at lunch on a dare. At first he was energetic and ran outside at full speed, but once we got back into the classroom, he crashed and fell asleep. Shocking his body with sugar may have given him energy at first but so much sugar intake is not healthy for the body.

Counter-argument Some people would say that the sugar in junk food is good for your body. I agree that sugar is good for your body but not in the large amounts that it comes in for junk food.
