Describe relocation (31 new vocabulary)  Use 把 sentences and the resultative complement to describe the result of an action;  Understand the differences between POEMs and LYRICs;  Understand the Chinese moving celebrations and taboos;  Understand and write invitation letter;  Understand the materials, equipment and basic preparation for writing Chinese calligraphy.

Describe an event, talk about experiences (30 new vocabulary)  Review the usage of “ 了 ” 、 “ 着 ” 、 “ 过 ” to indicate the tense of a sentence;  Analyze the authors, main characters, and basic stories of the four classic Chinese novels : The Romance of the Three Kingdoms; Water Margin; Journey to the West; Dream of the Red Chamber.  Watch movie clips from “ 关云长 ” ;  Practice the basic techniques of Chinese calligraphy.

Asking and Giving Directions (41 more 生词)  Use 多 + adj to ask about distance, length, speed, size, etc.;  Use 往 ( 向 ) + direction/location + V for asking and giving directions;  Giving oral directions by reading maps in Chinese;  Analyze fundamentals of newspaper Chinese, the basis for modern Chinese formal prose, and gain insight into contemporary China;  Practice the basic brushstrokes of Calligraphy;  Read another chapter from the revised version of “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”
