Creating a Business 3 parts: business plan, business cards, and business webpage
2
Groups Students will get into groups of 2 or 4, if you would like to work alone that is fine too. If I see that there is a problem with grouping yourselves I will group you.
3
Groups Step 2. Groups will have 10 minutes to decide what kind of business they are going to create. Use internet to do research if needed. REMEMBER : Only 10 minutes to decide what kind of business you are going to start.
4
Business Plan First things first: the most important part of your business is the business plan. Complete a business plan. Business plans need to be in a word document. Many resources available to you on the internet. Write these down: http://www.bplans.com http://www.businessplantemplate.net/http://www.bplans.com http://www.businessplantemplate.net/ Follow the structure of these business plans, they don’t need to include every piece of the business plan because many business plans can be very lengthy. Use your team judgment to decide what needs to be included in your business plan.
5
Business Cards Create business cards. There are templates in Microsoft word you can use, or if you find any on the internet.
6
Website Create a webpage for your business. The webpage needs to give the customer an idea of what your business has to offer. Pictures, product info and time and days you are open are some good ideas to put on your website. Look up current business websites and see what they put on their webpages, then you can get a real good idea what yours should include and what it should look like. Here is a free website that has webpage templates: www.wix.comwww.wix.com
7
Present your business to your potential customers (class) After you have completed your business plan, business cards, and business webpage compile your business plan in a way so you can present it to the class. PowerPoint, or prezi.
