2. observation and reflection [processing] observing what happened during the SLE actions, reactions, effects reflecting on the relationship between them understanding the situation ASK: O bjective R eflective what? - what happened, what did you do, what did you not do

3. forming abstract concepts generalizing concepts the bigger picture principles from the real world ASK: I nterpretative so what? - now that you know what happened and why it happened, what did you learn?

4. testing in new situations relating generalized concepts to future real- life situations applying to context ASK:Decisional - now that you have learned, how are you going to apply it?

The Facilitator’s Role in the SLE clarify instructions. keep track of time. - again, conscious but not rushing while the participants focus on the task, you focus on the process and the people. - while they are focused on performing the activity, answering your questions and thinking, you focus on where the discussion is headed, on the progress of the group keep them going! summarize and synthesize.
