Epidermis and Dermis Epidermisdermis Is composed of 4 layers. 1.Basal layer 2.Spinous layer 3.Granular cell layer 4.Stratum corneum Is composed of many cell, follicles, sweat glands, saboreous glands, blood vessels, nerves.

Skin, Hair, and Nails SkinHairNails Is composed of superficial epidermis and the under lying dermis. Is composed of confide threads of cells that develop from the epidermis and most of the body. Nails develop from the epidermis.

Diseases Acne Athletes foots Warts Acute Paronychia Skin cancer Alopecia Chronic paronychia Seborrheic dermatitis

What do these diseases do? Most of these diseases cause skin irritation and other stuff like rashes and other related things such as that. Also others like warts can cause small bumps to appear on the skin.

Disease cures The cure to most of these diseases are simple like with the acne, athletes foot, and other rashes and things you just have to keep your skin moisturized in that area. Sometimes you might have to get a special cream or other like substance but nothing major.

Functions Protects the bodies internal living tissues and organs. Protect against invasior. Stores water fat and vitamins.

Relationships The relationship between the respiratory system and the integumentary system is that the oxygen from the respiratory system helps things in the integumentary system to grow. For example the skin, hair, and nails.
