Lambert Cheerleading Expectations Follow all rules stated by the LHS Cheerleading Constitution Attend summer activities and camps Maintain high academic standards Participate in pre-/post-game activities and preparations Attend all games and practices

Sideline Tryout Dates Monday, March 23rd -Thursday, March 26th Aux gym at LHS from 4:00-6:00 On Thursday, the girls will be immediately dismissed after their try out. (Number order) The list of 2015 cheerleaders will NOT be posted at Lambert. It will be uploaded to the Lambert Cheerleading Webpage Friday, March 27 th The list will also be posted our on instagram lambert_cheer (Please go ahead and follow us!)

Tryout Procedures Tryouts are closed sessions Students are not allowed to tryout with finger nails over GHSA regulation or artificial nails (cut to the end of the finger). Students are not allowed to wear jewelry of any kind- rings, earrings, nose-rings, bracelets, anklets, or belly. No cell phones allowed in the gym- all personal items should remain in the locker room. Students should stay on task at all times and remember that the whole week is a tryout.

Football Eligibility Please know that it is the intention of the football program that all cheerleaders cheer for their grade.(Freshman for 9 th grade, Sophomores for JV, and Juniors & Seniors for Varsity) Due to scheduling conflicts, if you are selected for a Lambert Competitive cheer team, you will be only be eligible to be considered for the corresponding team. (Example: a sophomore making Varsity competition can only be considered for Varsity football.

Requirements for Lambert Football Cheerleading Completed Application Packet (Available on Lambert Football Cheerleading Webpage) Physical – up to date and on file Teacher or Coach Recommendation Letter Completed information sheet TYPED cover letter (2-3 paragraphs introducing yourself to the coaches) Cheer Dance Jumps (toe-touch and one of your choice) Standing Tumbling Stunt Evaluation (extension as a back, base or fly)

Tentative Date Obligations for Football Cheerleaders Tryouts: March 23 th -26 th First Cheerleader meeting April 1 st @4pm First Program Parent Meeting –April 1 st @6pm Summer Camp – June TBD Summer Practices – TBD (Tuesdays and Thursdays) Picture Day July 31 st Fall practices- Varsity- Wednesday 4-6 Fall Practices- JV/9 th –Thursdays 4-6

Approximate Cost Obligations Varsity $850 Junior Varsity & 9 th $550 The cost for returning cheerleaders will be less.
