3. Sport plays an important role in our life. There are many stadiums and public sport facilities in Russia. Numerous national and international matches and competitions are regularly held in our country. They attract large numbers of fans. Most of the important games are shown on TV. Television has made sport available to all. Many fitness clubs and public leisure centers have been built during the past years.

10. Moscow Olympic Games In 1980 the 22 nd Olympic Games were held in Moscow. It was a festival of sport and friendship. Sportsmen from 81 countries took part in them. Sportsmen from 81 countries took part in them. The competitions were held in Minsk, Leningrad, Kiev and Tallinn too.

All pupils are fond of P.T. lessons. The schoolchildren take an active part in school, district and region competitions. During the last 20 years the school holds the first place in our district. The school uses sport as the way of teaching social values.
