Tasks Provide information (by 31.8.2009 Office) –What is available: systems, software –Central portal with links to other information Promote and advertise –Promote conference (by 30.11. JPH, Office) –Services available by the association (training etc.) –Tool for promotion to generate income (donations by 30.11. Majaranta) Look at other association websites for ideas –Both for contents and for structure (by 30.11. Office)

Layout and Structure Use layout that is familiar Internationalization, but also some local information and languages provided by all partners wherever relevant (31.8.2009) User friendliness –On going work within WP3 (jointly with WP1) Structure –Entry points based on main user groups (users, researchers) Internal section for members (2008-2009 Office) –Shrink the internal part to minimum (work docs, management) From Plone to WIKIPEDIA (summer 2009, if money) –Visitors not only get information but can contribute –Discussion board! Everybody can contribute!

Public relation strategy Define target groups –How to reach them Resources –Website, mailing lists, news leaflets, media appearances Needs a bit more time to come up with a plan. The COGAIN Association needs funds before this can be done, so the schedule is dependant on that (Office, Boedeker)
