What is FOCUS? FOCUS homepage Focus is a free web resource that supports Floridas Continuous Improvement Model Offers free assessments in reading, math, and science Provides planning, assessment, and reporting tools for all public schools in Florida

What is FOCUS? Assessments The FOCUS website offers mini-assessments in math and reading (grades 3 – 10), and science (grades 5, 7, 8, 11) Each assessment provides a set of five FCAT-like test questions Every assessment has a set of parallel items for retesting

Tools for Teachers FOCUS Teachers Desk (At-a-Glance screen) At the FOCUS Teachers Desk, teachers can: Set up an instructional calendar. Administer five-item mini- assessments for reading, math, and science. Review student performance with FOCUS reports.
