Highlights of the ESOP31 Meeting Beautiful location on the Adriatic Coast east of Rome I renewed acquaintances with European colleagues, and met new observers; interesting cultural program organized by Costantino Sigismondi Most active IOTA section chasing TNO occultations Plans of expeditions from France, Germany, and Spain to video record the November 13 th total solar eclipse from the path edges, but Decided to make one last effort for the 2017 August US total solar eclipse, then probably defer the solar diameter measurements to space-based observations History of the HMNAO occultation machine Wieth-Knudsen Award
