2 Business Negotiations for a Venue to Hold Parties and Events WACC The Worcester African Culture Center - Established in 2001, the Center has served as a meeting place of education in African Art and artifacts. Bringing awareness of the African traditions, cultures, art and history to people of New England, primarily those of Worcester and Worcester county. Black Krisis Entertainment - Established in 2003, focuses on reviving the nightlife scene in Central Massachusetts by initiating bi- monthly cultural, musical event that infuses dancehall and other musical genres with thematic, sensitive, conscious issues affecting our audience.

4 Education Vs. Social Awareness WACC Prides Itself on its mission to promote African Culture and history via artistic, educational, and social Activities and events, for individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds. They Keep a true spirit of appreciation of culture and essence of the people. They ask that all events retain this essence and spirit. Education of what’s going on within the African culture must be present with every event.

5 Black Krisis will advocate diversity in celebration through location. Separating from the “Club –atmosphere” also spread awareness on impeding social issues, incorporating peer out reach, non-violence And inclusiveness to pop-culture.

6 Safety WACC is watchful and very particular in which events they choose to host in their center. The Center is new to the community and with all their accomplishments thus far including : -Presentations made in collaboration with UMass Memorial Medical Center Focusing on African Healing Arts -Co-sponsorships and collaborative presentations made with Worcester Art Museum -Provision of classes in African Drumming, Dance and music for individuals of all ages All have been done without the presence of violence or ill publicity.

7 Black Krisis is confident that success of this partnership will be evident in the Professionalism exhibited through our focus on security, safety, and social awareness. We are committed to non-violence and are mindful of the Integrity of both Black Krisis Ent. and that of WACC. Black Krisis builds a climate of class and style which will be incorporated with appropriate dress codes, attitudes and behavior.

8 Cost - WACC asks for an hourly rate of $200.00 per hour for a minimum of $400.00 For an allotted space in the Worcester African Cultural Center any day or night during the week agreed upon prior to event. - Black Krisis proposes that for an hourly rate of $100.00 per hour, the allotted space of Worcester African Cultural Center, grant us use for Our event every two Sundays for four hours nightly.

9 Alcohol WACC has no Liquor License. They are in the process of obtaining one with a Prospected city approval in July or August of 2006. They are able to serve alcohol on a bring your own alcohol basis. Black Krisis Is willing to purchase alcohol out of pocket as long as all Profits from Alcohol sales go to Black Krisis Ent.

10 Settling Agreement WACC and Black Krisis Entertainment Agree to: -A cultural, musical celebration to be held every two Sundays at the Worcester African Cultural Center. The event promises Social awareness, security and safety. -The events will be held from 10:00pm to 2:00am -Black Krisis will diversify the Worcester nightlife with a new location for celebration giving people an alternative to the club scene. -This allows for increasing relations between different cultural groups through music, elegance and social awareness on pertinent issues such as: HIV, Violence, School drop out ect... - Awareness will be brought through exhibits and donations during scheduled Events

11 Settling agreement cont. -An agreed upon $125.00 will be the flat rate per hour for the use of The Center with a minimum use of 4 hours -Staff will include members of Black Krisis, members of the WACC, security and Disc Jockey, both hired by Black Krisis -Alcohol will be purchased by Black Krisis any and all profits from sales will be retained by Black Krisis -In addition to security there will be strict dress codes and age limits enforced. -Members of Black Krisis agree to takes seats on the Working committee For the WACC as youth alliances
