My education here at ITU The E-business programme is more towards Business and IT, not only E- business or E-commerce as many may think I have chosen all my own courses and projects - it has given me the opportunity to choose my own path The courses that I have taken so far: Strategic and tactical tools for E-business National Internet Law IT strategy ICT and Innovation Webdesign and Webcommunication Business Intelligence Project Management of Business related IT-projects Enterprise Architecture Public Sector Process Rebuilding (CBS) I have also done projects with practical casework such as the Danish Agency for Governmental Management and other agencies within the Danish Public Sector.

Master Thesis The course Enterprise Architecture has definitely made its mark My profile and focus is a strategic and management point of view – also in my thesis The main area in my thesis is IT-governance: “IT-governance from a Strategic Change and Maturity Perspective” The big question is: what happens when an organisation has a formalized IT-governance structure and mechanisms? How do we get to the next step, i.e. implementation, communication and ownership Does the structure and culture of the organisation have an impact on IT-governance and the implementation of it How does an organisation change, and can one manage this change – also the cultural aspect of change management Can maturity of IT-governance really be measured? Focus on management and strategy Underlying themes such as organisational theory, change management, maturity and Enterprise Architechture.

Empirical data Interviews with experts – a way of validating and legitimizing the problemdefinition Case – Region Sjælland (Region of Sealand) Public case due to the fact that the Danish Public Sector is currently struggling with EA, governance and management The IT-governance of the Region
