Binary Decision Trees. A BDT is a rooted, directed tree that consists of two types of nodes, terminal nodes and nonterminal nodes. –Each nonterminal node v is labeled by a variable var(v) and has two successors : – low(v) corresponding to the case where the variable v is assigned 0 – and high(v) corresponding to the case where v is assigned 1. –Each terminal node v is labeled by value(v) which is either 0 or 1.
