3 Overview Shared Hosting Servers running multiple applications in the same application instance or on the same server Server settings are the same for all applications All applications must run at the same software version Cheaper than dedicated hosting Dedicated Hosting A single server running a single application and/or multiple applications for the same customer Greater flexibility of server settings Ability to run a higher or lower version of software than what is available in the shared environment More expensive than shared hosting
