MOU Status with Fermilab Fermilab told in January that DOE would not approve InterAction Collaboration MOU Alternate option explored with Fermilab’s contracting entity – not successful April 1 – Informed that DOE has “changed its mind” about common funds. Altering MOU for re-submission No estimated date for new decision November 19, 2012 14

15. My recommendation Continue to pursue MOU with DOE to keep financial operations at Fermilab At the same time, explore options for other institutions to host the InterAction common fund Contributions for IHEP Beijing (and possibly INFN) held up until new MOU is signed November 19, 2012 15
