Client Outcomes & Relationship Engagement Understanding and Preparing for CORE

What is CORE? CORE stands for: Client Outcomes & Relationship Engagement CORE is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. CORE replaces WebIT

What is a CRM? A CRM is a “model for managing a company’s interactions with current and future customers.” – Wikipedia’s “CRM” Entry (wikipedia.com)

Why CORE? Leverages our entire network and creates a platform for collaboration – All volunteers in one, searchable directory – Forums to exchange messages and ideas Eliminates redundancy – One database rather than 340 – One account per client which covers all services – Single sign-on for volunteer training, resources, and reporting WebIT no longer supported and costly

What are the features of CORE? Single database Single sign-on Data security Optional client scheduling system Interactive reports Same easy look and feel

What are the benefits of CORE? Single Database – Better view of how clients use SCORE to increase the impact of our services – Consolidated volunteer information allows for more collaboration across the country Single Sign-On – Easier access to resources across SCORE’s systems Data Security – Protection of client and volunteer information

What are the benefits of CORE? Optional client scheduling system – Less likely for clients to “fall through the cracks” if they have a scheduled appointment – Clients are empowered to commit to a time and place Interactive reports – Download and manipulate the data in Excel, making the information more usable for your chapter or district – One database allows for more powerful data across mentoring, workshops and what clients are using on SCORE.org. Same easy look and feel – Easier transition for volunteers

CORE Rollout Process All chapters on CORE system by March 2015 What ensures a successful rollout? – Insight and feedback from SCORE chapters and leaders – Piloted by several SCORE chapters – Increased communications from SCORE Support – Chapter decision of timing to adopt new system – Dedicated CORE Project Manager
