16 Please read the Rules Outlined in the Planner. REMEMBER:  No Gum on Campus  Follow the Dress Code  Be Kind to Others  Be Prepared – Supplies  Be neat  Complete Homework

17  Locate, comprehend and interpret written material such as: books, papers, graphs, etc.  Organize and write a response/evaluation of the written word.  Present material orally.  Write a variety of compositions – using prewriting, drafting, revising, editing & publishing.

18 Spelling –- Assignment almost daily **** Final Test on Fri. Reading Log – Read for at least 20 min. a day for 5 days a week. **** Return every Monday – Signed A lot of the Work will be done in Class. If not finished – it will be homework. **** It is very important to be in class everyday. **** Be Prepared.

22 When Absent – All Work needs to be made up within 3 days after the absent. If there is a missing assignment – I will take it late (within 3 days), but without full credit. (This is better than an FN or even an F.)

23 A Good Education is a three-way Partnership – the Student, the Parent and the Teacher. If we all work together it will be a Great, Productive Year. I’m looking forward to working with your student.
