Voldemort This character is the enemy to Harry Potter. Hermione She is one of Harry’s best friends and the smartest in her class. Ron Weasley He is the other best friend to Harry. He comes from a big family full of red heads!

13. Pick your best THREE (preferably one from each job sheet) to discuss in this slide. They should be passages that tell us something MORE about the conflict, something MORE about the characters, or something MORE about the overall story. For example: “I'm going to keep going until I succeed — or die. Don't think I don't know how this might end. I've known it for years.” This was said by Harry Potter, the main character. It shows that he knows the danger of what he is doing and that he is going to keep going anyways in order to try and defeat Voldemort.

15. This only needs to be ONE slide that includes the most important themes from your story. Include what the theme is and HOW it relates to your novel. For example: Good versus Evil This is one of the biggest themes in our novel because it highlights the ongoing struggle between Harry and Voldemort. It continues throughout the book with some of the “evil” wizards that have long been against Harry in earlier books now siding with him in the fight against the real evil that is Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

17. Each group member needs to give their OWN opinion on the story overall. For example Student 1 says: “This book is the most exciting out of all of the Harry Potter books. I would highly recommend reading this book before watching the movie if you’re into fantasy novels that still incorporate real-life problems. Student 2 says: “This book wasn’t as good as I was hoping. A lot of my friends suggested it would be the best book, but I thought some of it was over the top and not believable. If you’re not interested in fantasy novels that talk about wizards and goblins, this isn’t the book for you. This should take up TWO slides if you have 3 or more group members.
