6 Outlook Lesson 5 Cable / MorrisonMicrosoft Office 2010 Advanced Updating Contacts Creating New Contacts An electronic business card is a file that provides contact information in a business card format – Can be used to create a new contact When you send an e-mail message to someone who is not in your Outlook Contacts list, Outlook automatically stores the e-mail information in the Suggested Contacts folder. 6

You can: – Replace or update the existing contact, or – Add a second e-mail address to the contact information 9

Contact groups can be used in messages, task requests, and meeting requests. 10

You can merge the data to a new document, to a printer, or to an e-mail message. 15

When you remove a group, all the contacts remain intact. To remove a contact or a group, you must delete the item from your Contacts folder. 16

Groups also allow you to add multiple names to the To box of an e-mail message with a single click.
