4. 12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world

6. IF WE DON’T REMEMBER WHO WE WERE, WE WON’T APPRECIATE WHO WE ARE NOW.

7. Paul describes the man or woman without Christ as: Christless, stateless, friendless, hopeless and Godless.

16. SPIRITUAL INTIMACY WITH God - We are no longer separated from God, but are now at PEACE WITH God v. 13-14

17. INFLUENCE WITH NON- BELIEVERS We are simply one beggar telling another where she can find bread.
