R005: Creating an Interactive Product You will be able to develop your creative flair by combining multimedia components to create a vibrant webpage or interactive product. Teacher Assessed

R007: Sounds, videos and animations You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to create sounds and videos in different formats. You will also learn how to create and add interactivity to animations. Teacher Assessed

R010: Developing control systems You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to construct and control automated systems e.g. robots Teacher Assessed

Minimum Entry Requirements. Level 6 or above in Mathematics.

Understanding Computer Science (45%) 90 minute examination to assess understanding of the theory content of the specification e.g. networks, algorithms, security.

Developing Computing Solutions (25%) Internally assessed and externally moderated 15 hour controlled assessment to develop a piece of work using programming software.

Solving Problems Using Computers (30%) 2 hour external assessment to assess the practical application of knowledge and understanding of Computer Programming

Further Study & Careers Further Study Cambridge Technical (A Level) Degree in Computing and/or ICT Careers Programming ICT support Manufacturing ALL Careers now need ICT skills
