What else have we done so far?
There is an updated Anti-Bullying and Harassment Policy that you can request to have a copy of. We have designed clear procedures for all members of the school community to follow when incidents of suspected bullying or harassment arise.

What signs should I look for in case my child is being bullied?
A reluctance to go to school Uncharacteristic anxiety Nightmares or bed wetting Vague illnesses Clothes or belongings repeatedly damaged or missing Dinner money regularly lost A sudden drop in the standard of school work Secrecy and being visibly upset

What do you do if your child reports an incident?
Listen Establish the facts Establish whether it is persistent Help your child to deal with the problem independently and to use the ‘worry box’ Read the Bullying Policy Contact the class teacher Work with the school

How do I prevent my child from being a bully?
Be a role model for your children Display positive attitudes towards others and talk about issues such as race, gender, sexuality and physical difference Support the school in its behaviour policy Teach your children to live out our mission statement
