5. What is the significance of September 11, 2001? Click here to enter text. Which of these groups complained about British taxation during the American colonial period? Choose an item.

6. To begin: go to “File” and scroll down to “Options” at the bottom.

7. Now, click on “Customize Ribbon” (this used to be called the Toolbar).

8. On the right side is a check list. Click on “Developer.” Hit Ok at the bottom.

9. Developer will remain on your ribbon and now, you can start making fillable forms.

10. Then what? 1. Type your question. 2. Place curser at the end of your question. 3. Tap on the “Aa” at the middle, top.

11. Or… 1. Type your question. 2. Place the curser at the end of your question. 3. Tap the box under the picture.

12. 4. A blue box will appear at the end of the question. 5. Click on “Properties in the ribbon.” 6. Hit “Add.”

13. 6. Type in a response in “Display Name.” 7. Click “OK.”

14. Protect your work! 1. Go to “File” and click on the box “Protect Document.”

15. 2. A box will appear on the left; hit “Restrict Editing” (can’t capture screen shot). 3. On the right, there will be a list with 3 selections. Check #2, then go to the pull down menu and highlight “Filling in forms.”

16. 4. Now, click on the box “Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.”

17. 5. A box requesting a password will come up, but don’t enter one! Just hit “Ok.”

18. 6. You can cancel the protection by clicking on the box “Stop Protection” at the bottom of the screen.

19. Now what? Open SmartSmart

20. Save your new Word doc on your webpage. Then, create a dropbox for student submissions….
