Meeting (on May 3 rd 2011) between Agriculture Minister, India and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Israel resulted in signing of a Joint Declaration Joint declaration expressed satisfaction on progress achieved in Phase-I Joint team commissioned to finalize action plan for next three years Scope of action plan (2011-13) enlarged with inclusion of more states

Nursery protocols for seedling production developed. More than 50 lakh seedlings sold to the farmers for vegetables Green house vegetable cultivation protocols developed for tomato, cucumber, capsicum and book published for farmers. 1 st and 2 nd Vegetable Expo organised in 2012 and 2013.

The Centre has achieved the potential productivity of 302 MT per ha in Tomato, 211 MT in Capsicum & 151 MT in Cucumber. 75 varieties of tomatoes (45 cherry & 30 regular hybrids), 14 hybrids of capsicum of 7 colours & 5 hybrids of cucumber have been demonstrated at this center. On an average 50 farmers visit the Centre per day & during last year more than 16000 farmers have visited the center for exposure visit in the last two years. Training to Extension officers and private entrepreneurs and companies.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between India and Netherlands for cooperation in Agriculture signed in New Delhi on 27 th September, 1990. Pursuant to para 6 of MOU, Work Plan (2011-15) for cooperation in the field of Agriculture was signed on 7 th June, 2011.
