PERFORMANCE - Hockey - Volleyball - Badminton ANALYSIS & DEVELOPMENT OF PERFORMANCE Factors impacting performance: Social, Emotional, Mental & Physical. - focused features of each. Methods of analysis: Video, Checklists, Tests, General Observation Schedule and Focussed Observation Schedule

(PERFORMANCE) Course Assessment National 5- Graded A → D (60% of course marks) Preparation and Evaluation (Bookends 20%) One-off Performance (40%) INTERNALLY ASSESSED (EXTERNALLY MODERATED) Unit Assessment Pass/Fail in at least two activities

1. Homework Weekly homework completed on time Feedback received on homework 2. Participation 100% Participation by all pupils in all lessons Fun, challenging and engaging lessons 3. Preparation (PE Kit and Resources) PE Kit Resources (jotter, workbook and pencil) All pupils will be provided with a jotter and workbook 4. Supported Study Attend supported study when available Supported study will be offered after-school and at lunchtimes

If you want to improve your performance you must: a)ANALYSE your ability in these 3 areas. b) IDENTIFY your performance needs. c) PREPARE A PLAN OF ACTION to improve identified weaknesses. (Practice Programme) d) CARRY OUT YOUR PLAN OF ACTION e) RE-ANALYSE your performance to assess effectiveness of your programme
