2 Energy Exchange : Federal Sustainability for the Next Decade Session participants will gain an understanding of the opportunities and difficulties of hosting a technology demonstration and providing a technology for demonstration including ability to: Identify the needs and concerns of end users as they contemplate incorporation of innovative energy technologies in their facility; Identify and avoid common mistakes technology developers make working with staff at demonstration sites; Identify and avoid common mistakes staff that host sites make when working with technology developers; Describe opportunities for technology development from the perspective an energy technology consumer; and Describe how R&D organizations identify priorities to make their programmatic outcomes as impactful as possible. 2 Session Objectives
