Science GCSE awarded in Year 10. WBQ Application of Number Key skill – level 1. Higher Band: WBQ Application of Number Key skill – level 2.

14. CORE SCIENCE  In Year 11: A new course – Additional Science. New work in the three sciences. New Controlled assessments Three exams June 2016 (B2, C2, P2). New & separate GCSE award in Additional Science.

TRIPLE SCIENCE  15 hours per fortnight.  Separate GCSE awards in Biology, Chemistry & Physics at end of Y11.  Five examinations in Year 10 – (B1, B2, C1, P1, P2).  Four examinations in Year 11 – (B3, C2, C3, P3)  Controlled Assessment in each Science.  Suitable only for potential A Level Scientists  WBQ Application of Number Key skill – level 2.
