2. Every Member is a Minister  God has given us spiritual gifts and expects us to use them. Ephesians 2:10  God owns our spiritual gifts and He decides how we use them. The Holy Spirit empowers us to do things with eternal value. John 15:5 Jesus enables us to be effective ministers. Matthew 20:28 God alone gives us success. 3. Every Member Matters  God placed each of us in this church body.  We all needed Jesus the same. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11  The Church will not function properly.  The Church will not be healthy. When we exercise the gifts which Christ has given us we are saying to our fellow Christians and others: see how much the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and cares for you; He has sent me to serve you in this way; He is using my hands and feet, my lips and ears, to show His love. It is a tragic mistake if we think that the message is: See what a superb Christian I am; see the wonderful gifts I have… Gifts are for service, not self-advancement. Sinclair Ferguson

4. Ignorance is Not Bliss  God wants us to stop acting like we have nothing to offer.  God wants us to not be jealous of how He uses other people.  God wants us to pursue spiritual gifts.  God wants us to use our gifts or risk losing them.
