What’s Your Message? Gifts of Grace: The Kingdom and You I. Structural Gifts Eph.4(11) And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers. II. Service (Nurture) Gifts Romans 12(6a) Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly. III. Signature Gifts 1 Cor 12(4-7) 4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. IV. Growth gifts Galatians 5 (22-23) 22 but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.

Apostles- change earth's culture to Heaven's culture Prophets- point to God's purposes Evangelists- farthest reaching Pastors- care for the bride Teachers- receive double honor Isaiah 59(1a)Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save Matt.3(2)“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ”

Gifts of service (Nurture) exemplify His Grace through His strength which empowers us through faith to serve, honor, and nurture one another through Love. Because of our obedience to the Law of Christ, the New Commandment: "Love one another as I have loved you,'' we Glorify God through Jesus, which is the true manifestation of the Kingdom. 1 Peter 4:10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Nine (signature) manifestation gifts: I Corinthians 12:7–11 Word of wisdom, Word of knowledge, Faith, Gift of healing, Working of miracles, Prophecy, Discerning of spirit, various kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

Nine Growth Gifts of Grace Galatians 5 (22-23) 22 but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control; against such things there is no law. ( New Covenant ) Growing in the Fruit of Grace Gods Grace

Growing in the fruit of Grace is being connected with the Godhead John 15: 4-5 -Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15(8-11) My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. 9 Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. Abiding relationally in the Godhead is non-negotiable, otherwise all you will have is dead religion. 

Growth in Grace gifts is progressive Growth in Grace happens progressively after one is born again. Doctrinally, we would call this sanctification. Our eternal Salvation is justified instantly when we accept Jesus's gift, but receiving the benefits of salvation upon "our earth" is a progressive event. 2Peter 3(18) but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. Our ''prototype'' is Jesus. Luke 2(40) The Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him. Point: It was the Godhead's interaction with Jesus's humanity.

The challenge is to grow up or grow down. Gal 5(13-15) 13 For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the *flesh. (*carnal nature not sin nature) Bonus thought: Sin occurs when we choose to use our carnality for purposes outside of the will of God.

What you practice is what you inherit. Galatians 5 (19-21) 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Jn 2(29) “If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him.” 1 Jn 3(9) No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin*, because he is born of God. *Cannot sin (meaning cannot practice)

The Fruit of Grace manifests God's Kingdom. Romans 14(7) for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The Fruits of Holy Spirit in themselves are evidences of Grace. (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) Fruits of the Spirit are the evidence that His Kingdom (His rule) is manifesting in our lives. Our relationship with the Godhead lies not in our ability to achieve, but in our ability to receive it. The Kingdom of God in the New Covenant is not about keeping the rules; it’s about keeping Relationship! Romans 8(14) For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
