4. Needs of Your Community: Poverty  There are 3,738 families in the 1 mile radius study area. 7.1% or 265 families live below the poverty line.  If we looked at a 2 mile radius we would find much higher levels of poverty.

5. Food Justice  Many people do not have access to healthy food. Parts of South Mpls are food deserts.

6. Homelessness  Homelessness is a big issue in South Minneapolis  Hennepin County has about 4000 people experiencing homelessness on any given night. 46% are children.

7. Affordable Housing Minneapolis has less than 2% vacancy.

8. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 1 Corinthians 12: 4-6
