3 Choosing your courses Consider the following: credit accumulation minimum 7 courses post secondary pre-requisites evaluate your abilities talk to teachers, parents, siblings, friends see your guidance counsellor

4 Graduation Requirements  30 credits (18 compulsory, 12 electives) -students must complete group 1, group 2 and group 3 credits  40 hours community service  Literacy test – March 27

6 Post Secondary Considerations  Ontario universities require six Grade 12 U/M courses  College has a variety of prerequisites depending on program (ENG4C, MAP4C, SBI3C, SCH4C)  Different university/college programs have different prerequisites  Majority of courses in grade 12 have grade 11 prerequisites! Know what they are!  Check the Course Calendar online for course descriptions & prerequisites
