Care Abounds in Communities How is funding made available? How is funding made available? –Hands-on service activities –Fund-raising activities –Appeals or Collections

Care Abounds in Communities How much money is available? How much money is available? –$100 minimum to $1,600 maximum for service activities (50% available in advance for supplies). –$100 minimum to $1,600 maximum for fundraising activities (per community service team). –$5,000 maximum for individuals or families (per service team – per activity). –This is depended on available funding in the Verdugo Hills Chapter and is at the discretion of the Chapter Leadership Team.

How do I access available money? –Form a Community Services Team (Minimum of one individual from at least SIX Thrivent Financial member households). –Identify a need. –Receive Project Request Form from Chapter leadership team or download at www.thrivent.com. –Return to Michael Sholer.

Other Giving Opportunities In 2005, our Chapter will give away $1,000 in Join Hands Funds and... Care In Congregations There is currently $1,300 - $1,600 available to congregations (depending on size). There is currently $1,300 - $1,600 available to congregations (depending on size).
