2 A little info about me….  Ms. Rohweller  Teaching for 14 years in St. Paul  Humboldt Senior, Hazel Park, district curriculum coach, 6 years at Highland  Speech coach and co-advisor for Student Council  Married, husband is a teacher  Two sons--Max: 3 1/2, Charlie: 5 months  One cat--Mia  Ms. Rohweller  Teaching for 14 years in St. Paul  Humboldt Senior, Hazel Park, district curriculum coach, 6 years at Highland  Speech coach and co-advisor for Student Council  Married, husband is a teacher  Two sons--Max: 3 1/2, Charlie: 5 months  One cat--Mia

11 What’s going on this week:  Wed: discussion of everyone’s favorite…O,P,V,L (review for some, new for others).  Thurs: summer assignment is due. You should be reading The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman up to the Outbreak section, chapters 1-5.  Thurs: 3 page summary/personal reaction is due. Include: what you have learned, specific historical pieces of information, what surprised you or what you found interesting and questions you still have.  Please bring your book to class that day as well.  Fri: participation/practice essay on The Guns of August.
