Communicate with Public & Media Public (Facebook & Twitter) Weekly: Programs, Club newsletter, Meeting highlights Monthly: Special events, Scholarships, Special Speakers/Programs, Gifts Media (Phone, Email, Facebook & Twitter) Monthly: Scholarships, Special Speakers/Programs, All Gifts with Photos Quarterly: Large gifts, Community & International Projects

Build Relationships w/ Local Media Ask your membership who can introduce you to news directors THEN call them and take them to lunch Provide Press Releases via email & twitter Comment and converse with local news media on facebook and twitter Have members who have strong relationship with media submit your news releases

Follow up, Follow up, Follow up Send your release to news media Call the person to make sure they received it Ask them if they can run your story/release Follow up with a thank you for running The squeaky wheel gets the grease!
