Key Required Elements for Healthcare We need a plan that is: Compassionate Competent Consistent/Reliable It must meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of all community members in a timely and sensitive manner Discrimination, unconscious bias, and stereotyping by health care professionals can influence diagnosis and treatment, perpetuating disparate quality and access to care 10
