What is jQuery ? New type of JavaScript library. jQuery is a fast, concise, JavaScript Library that simplifies how you traverse HTML documents, handle events, perform animations, and add Ajax interactions to your web pages. jQuery is designed to change the way that you write JavaScript.

API-Attributes Access a property of matched element –attr(name) Access a property on the first matched element. –attr( key, value ) Set a single property to a value, on all matched elements. –addClass( class ) Adds the specified class(es) to each of the set of matched elements. –toggleClass(class) Adds the specified class if it is not present, removes the specified class if it is present. –removeClass(class) Removes all or the specified class(es) from the set of matched elements. –hasClass(class) Returns true if the specified class is present on at least one of the set of matched elements.
