To prepare students for high demand, high paying careers within a continuously changing workforce. To provide students with industry certifications as well as a high school diploma making students more marketable in the job search. To prepare students to be successful college students.

Students wanting to pursue careers within business are able to major in the following three areas: Administrative Assistant Accounting-Bookkeeper Digital Media Design

Students will earn industry certifications within their area of study prior to graduation. Testing is based on instructor’s approval.

These courses are business courses which have been evaluated by college faculty and have been found to duplicate content. If the students makes a B or better the student should not be required to retake it at the college level. Students can be granted credit hours towards an A.S. or contact hours towards an Occupational Certificate at the Family Service Center and SFCC. These course do not factor into the students college GPA only the credit hours are awarded.

How to Earn a 75% paid tuition Scholarship: 1. Complete three technical courses in one program with a 3.5 GPA within those courses. 2. Earn at least 3.0 overall in core credits required for high school graduation. 3. Earn a minimum score on CPT, SAT, or ACT.* *Test Scores: SAT: 440 Verbal and Math; ACT: English 17, Reading 18, Math 19; CPT: Reading 83, Sentence Skills 83, Algebra 72.
