2. Chapter #1 Mr.Ocax One night Mr.Ocax was looking for food. Poppy and Ragweed were on Bannock hill. Poppy was scared to go out on the hill all the way. Ragweed didn`t know that Mr.Ocax was out looking for food. Poppy get out here and dance said Ragweed! Get under here Ragweed Mr.Ocax is out! At that moment Mr.Ocax struck. Mr.Ocax ate Ragweed. Poppy escaped.

3. Chapter #2 Poppy remembers For a minute Poppy forgot where she was. A minute later Poppy had a flash back of Ragweed. Ragweed would always ask questions. When Lungwort was teaching he always wonders why that was. Poppy was very sad but she found her way home. Poppy has 12 siblings.

4. Chapter #3 Poppy alone Poppy was running faster than she ever had before. Mr.Ocax was flying so fast he crashed in to the same piece of wood Poppy was on but on different sides. Mr.Ocax made Poppy go flying. Once Poppy went flying she lost sight of Mr.Ocax. Poppy was able to escape Mr.Ocax easer.

5. Chapter #4 The emergency meeting When Poppy reached home she saw the red flag. The red flag means an emergency meeting. Poppy raced in the house. Lungwort asked Poppy, “where were you and where is Ragweed?”. I will tell you after the meeting Poppy said. After the meeting Poppy told her parents that Mr.Ocax ate Ragweed.

6. Chapter #5 Leaving gray house Lungwort said to Poppy I want you to come with me to go see Mr.Ocax. Poppy was shocked. Poppy wondered if Mr.Ocax would remember her. If he did what would he do to her? Poppy didn`t know what to do. Would Mr.Ocax eat her? What would Mr.Ocax do to her?

7. Chapter #6 Standing before Mr.Ocax Poppy and Lungwort were on there way to go see Mr.Ocax. Poppy was so nervous she was shaking. When they got there Poppy hid behind Lungwort. Lungwort asked if they could move to new house Mr.Ocax said NO!!!! you may not move to new house!!!!!!! Why because Poppy and Ragweed.

8. Chapter #7 Home Again Poppy and Lungwort where on there way home. Poppy and Lungwort did not talk on the way home only when they say look out for that puddle. When they got home a lot of mice were on the front porch waiting for good news. Poppy told everyone that they could not move to new house because Ragweed and I. all the mice gave Poppy a look.

9. Chapter #8 Poppy and Papa Poppy and Lungwort went to there rooms. Poppy`s room is a old tin can and lungwort`s room is a boot. Poppy kept on thinking about Mr.Ocax and why wouldn`t he let them move to new house. Poppy was going to tell lungwort that she was going to new house to fined out why Mr.Ocax wouldn`t let them move to new house. After Poppy told Lungwort that she was going to new house she raced out the door.

10. Chapter #9 On Her Way Once Poppy got into Dimwood forest she started dancing with the flowers. Poppy thought she herd Mr.Ocax she quickly ran for shelter. Mr.Ocax was on a hunt for poppy. Mr.Ocax chased Poppy into a the creek. Poppy leaped onto a rock. Poppy jumped rocks all the way up stream until all she saw was a massy rock. She jumped and slipped. Poppy fell in the water but pulled her self to shore safe.

11. Chapter #10 Dimwood Forest Poppy was looking so hard for a place to hide. Poppy keped a far distends from Mr.Ocax tree. Suddenly she got chased by an animal. She got cased into a log. On the other end was a nether animal. The animal woke up and was not a friendly animal.

12. Chapter #11 Erethizon Dorsatum Poppy found out that the animal was a porcupine. She was shocked. Pleas don`t eat me! Eat you said Ereth I hait mice. I am a vegetarian. But Mr.Ocax said you eat mice. Do you mean that owl? Mr.Ocax! Ocax said Ereth no Ereth no. He will eat me!!!! At that moment Poppy ran into Ereths log. Poppy get out of my toilet!!!!!!!!

13. Chapter #12 What Poppy Learns Don`t eat me pleas don`t! Why would I do that said Ereth? I am a vegetarian remember. It was getting late and Poppy was getting tired. Can I sleep hear? Yes but not in my toilet it is so stinky even for me

14. Chapter #13 Early Morning Poppy woke up in a nice soft spot. Ereth is that you? When Ereth came back Poppy asked do you love something? Yes I do. What? Salt. Salt? Why? It is so good do you have any on you? No I don`t. But will you help me get to new house? Only If you get me the salt that is there for the deer. Deal said Poppy. l l

15. Chapter #14 On There Way To New House. Poppy and Ereth where on there way to New House. Poppy wondered what was after the forest. Ereth said a cornfield and a dirt road. “Poppy there's the salt!” Ereth I can`t carry that. What !!!!! Then get me it later.

16. Chapter #15 Alone Again. Ereth left Poppy alone. Poppy was trying to ketch him but she tripped over one of his quills. Poppy thought she could use it as a sword. She got a piece of long grass to use as a belt to holed the quill. Poppy looked at the owl that was on the fence. She wondered if it was a fake.

17. Chapter #16 The truth at last Poppy learnd that the big animal on the fence was a fake. Poppy was shocked. Poppy was so happy Mr.Ocax was going to be so embarrest. Poppy wonderd why the people put a fake owl up on the fence. The tom cat sad it keeps away the animals that want to eat the corn and other stuff. One time an owl came and saw the fake and never came bake.

18. Chapter #17 A Surprising Conversation Poppy was in the cornfield and she saw Mr.Ocax. “Mr.Ocax down here!” Are you scared of that owl up there? I can tell you that that owl up there is a fake. Mr.Ocax was shocked. “How do you know that the owl is a fake?” Mr.Ocax was mad.

19. Chapter #18 The Battle Poppy and Mr.Ocax where in a battle. Poppy was tiring to get to the other side but Mr.Ocax was not letting her. Finley she got to the other side and stabbed Mr.Ocax in the claw. Mr.Ocax flew up and hit the salt. Mr.Ocax hit the ground poppy ran over at that moment Mr.Ocax closed his eyes. Poppy went over to Ereth house and sad your salt is on the ground. On the ground it will melt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20. Chapter #19 The Return Poppy said to Ereth I am going home now. When Poppy got home she said “we can move to new house and Mr.Ocax is dead.” At that moment there was a lot of cheering. Lungwort said, “if you listen to me all will be well.”

21. Chapter #20 A New Beginning Poppy Rye and there 11 mice sit on Bannock Hill well poppy gives a speech. She said, “it doesn't matter how you dace.” One of the mice said does mom like to give log speeches or what. When Poppy finished all 13 of them started to dance.

22. conclusion I really liked this book. My favorite character was Ereth he was so funny. Some parts where sad and some where happy. I give this book 5 stars.
