Should BE: Select a career that “fits” the student’s interests, values, and skills, and is “in demand” Select an education path that prepares the student for that career Obtain the required education/training

S. young adults (18-24 years old) live with parents When several hundred high school students were asked to list as many occupations as possible in 10 minutes, the average list included only 13 different occupations
