Begin breaking it down into epics Build a hierarchy of low level to high level user stories What is the base easiest user story? Estimate user stories in story points Are there at least 2 weeks worth of user stories? What are the highest priority user stories to slot into Sprint/Iteration 1? Does the Delivery Team have enough information to commit on Day 1? What additional investigation must happen to commit on Day 1? 4

What mechanism will be employed to track process improvements? Is there an established work intake and capacity planning process? If multiple Scrum teams exist, what is discussed in Scrum of Scrums?
