The Brevity of Life!  Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and get gain"; whereas you do not know about tomorrow. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and we shall do this or that." (James 4:13-15 RSV) "LORD, let me know my end, and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is! (Psalms 39:4 RSV)

Using Time Properly!  Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15- 16 RSV) Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. (Colossians 4:5 RSV)

Our “Time” Is Our Season of Opportunities! And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:9-10 RSV)

We All Have A Limited Time! We must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day; night comes, when no one can work. (John 9:4 RSV)

Just For Today! Lord, for tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray; Keep me, my God, from stain of sin, Just for today! Now, set a seal upon my lips, For this I pray; Keep me from wrong, or idle words, Just for today! Let me be slow to do my will, Prompt to obey; And keep me, guide me, use me, Lord, Just for today!
