Usually no prior pharmacy experience needed

Location University Health Services: Tang Center 2222 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA Pharmacy Tasks: Collect prescriptions from patients Organize filled prescriptions Help pharmacy clerk/tech as needed Commitment: 3 hours/week How to Obtain Position: Application process begins around May for Summer shift Application can be downloaded online Application must be submitted to pharmacy by end of semester Interviews for positions will be conducted over phone

Location: 2450 Ashby Avenue, Berkeley, CA Duties: ◦ Prepare drugs for the packaging robot ◦ Assist pharmacy technicians ◦ Check expiration dates ◦ Deliver medication from med rooms to patient rooms. How: Sign up on PTCB website Price: $129 Test sites throughout state (closest in Oakland) Immediate test results; 70% pass rate License renewal every 2 years Word of Advice: This exam is not difficult. Most people with a couple of weeks of studying will pass. Suggested Study Aids

[Locations for fingerprinting link] (Prices Vary. ~$80)[Locations for fingerprinting link] ◦ Passport picture (~$8 at Walgreens.) Total licensing fees ~$130 to get licensed. Certification and licensing total ~$315. Takes ~3-4 months after applying to receive license from the board.

Time: Friday, February 4, 2010 11AM - 3 PM Location: Pauley Ballroom in MLK Cal UPHC is hosting a Health Fair with the theme “Bear Necessities”. There will be various speakers, yoga, and giveaways, as well various Health-related groups at Cal publicizing their clubs and current projects. All are welcome to attend, and it’s COMPLETELY FREE!!!! Come learn more about efforts Cal students are working towards to promote local and global health!
