80% of Indian population is in rural area. The development projects are changing the scenario of India and we are targeting above 9% GDP. There is a need to take these development to Rural areas. At present there is gap in Rural and Urban Development. The Divide 1.Education, literacy and Knowledge 2.Economic 3.Digital 4.Physical The Scenario

This does not mean that the rural population do not have money, Knowledge, but do not know how to use, apply and mobilize the resources. There is a Lack of lively-hood process gap in skill and opportunities. There are Several Project Executed and Pilot done, but the need is a Common integrated Holistic approach to Rural Indian with Socio-Economic Sustainable model the CSC - Common Service Center. The Scenario

Govt. of India, Deptt. Of IT and Communication on the study of various projects planned to establish IT Kiosks for G2C in Rural area’s. During workshop NICT has presented a model of “Rural Development Centre” in 2001. A integrated common place for Total solutions at Rural area’s to bridge the various Divides for sustainable development. The govt. of India then accepted few recommendation of NICT Model and redesigned the IT kiosk project to “Common Service Centre Project” Adding G2C + B2C + B2B Services. Planned to open 1,00,000 CSC on P.P.P. model PAN India in association with state governments. The Project

A IT enable center providing various services at one point. Managed by Local unemployed, educated youth providing opportunities for direct and indirect employment. Govt. services G2C at door step to villagers / citizens by IT enabled delivery system. Business linkages with B2C services Bridging the Rural – Urban Market Gap. Bridging Digital, Knowledge Divide. Only Administrative Support and Network support by Govt. Via Swan. No funding from Govt. (Place provided) All investment will be by Stakeholders. The CSC Project
