Reading Volts Display Must Show DC Can Read AC or DC Set Knob to Volts
Neg (-) Black Lead Pos (+) Red Lead

Using the Meter; Read Across the circuit Read Across the load (drop)

Reading Ohms Display Must Show Ohms Ohms/Cont./Diode Set Knob to Ohms
Neg (-) Black Lead Pos (+) Red Lead

Reading Ohms ALWAYS DISCONNECT CIRCUIT POWER! You will damage meter
NEVER test for voltage while in the Ohms setting! Can also check continuity (good for fuses and broken wires)

Reading Amps Will Must Show DC Set Knob to Amps MUST SWITCH LEADS!

Reading Amps Must have circuit power!
Cannot Test more than 10a for 60 sec! Please put leads back to Volts/Amps testing position when finished! Current runs through meter, think of it as a counter.
