“Melissa Morrison Higgins” born Aug. 19, 1983 in Australia Began to play the piano at age 6. Wrote her first song at 15 titled “All For Believing” which was played on the radio and attracted attention from various record companies. She is vegetarian, loves rock climbing, and doing charitable work.

WHERE I STOOD 4:20 0:00 Verse One No introduction. Simply jumps straight into first verse with a simple slow piano accompaniment. Vocalist sings quietly. 0:28 Verse Two Piano picks up leading into verse two. Vocalist expresses emotion in words more readily. 0:54 Chorus Light drums in the background. Sounds like they are using a brush of some kind to hit on the drums and symbols. 1:49 Verse Three 2:16 Chorus Back again to more pronounced beats in accompaniment and emotion from vocalist. 2:54 Bridge Starts out loud and gradually gets slower and quieter. 3:22 Chorus Last passionate burst. SET ME ON FIRE 3:33 0:00 Introduction Background singers sing “doo, doo…” 0:14 Verse One Staccato sound with background singers again singing “doo, doo..” at the end of verse. 0:36 Verse Two Background vocalist this time echoes some of her words. 0:55 Chorus Melody becomes more conjunct and smooth with a major sound. Still background singer. 1:09 Repeat Chorus 1:30 Verse Three Returns to staccato sound. 1:52 Chorus Back to conjunct, smooth sound. 2:06 Repeat Chorus 2:26 Bridge Very little piano accompaniment. Vocalist and backgroung singers slowly sing phrases and “doo, doo..” and “ahhs”. 2:43 Chorus 2:58 Repeat Chorus Then fade out.
