1. !Art of Brilliance has come to life! By Harvey and Angus:] Y6

2. The Art of Brilliance is a life changing project invented by Andy Cope [ author of Spy Dog] the project is set at Birch Copse school. The schools that were involved were: Bradfield, Springfield, Theale, St. Pauls, Calcot, Basildon and 5 others… we started this AMAZING project in November 2013.

3. The six main subjects are :Choose to be Positive [a 2%er ], Spread the Happiness [the Pig of Happiness], Personal responsibility[doing homework for example ],Bouncebackability[if you get things wrong try again!],HUGGS[starting from the bottom and working your way to your goal] and finally Random acts of kindness [doing random things like: washing cars, reading stories to little ones.]

4. While we were in Y5, we washed the teachers cars, we set tables up for Y6 SATS, we gave cups to Y6, three Y5s gave out doughnuts and happy quotes to random people in Newbury, we gave flowers to teachers,read stories to Oak class and did presentations and finally the school fete.

5. In November, we had 3 AWESOME sessions with Andy Cope covering: choose to be positive, share the happiness and TPR! Then we had to go away for 6 months to turn our lives around. A few months later, we returned and all the schools came together to show what they had done over the past 6 months. I spoke first how the Art of Brilliance changed me inside!!!!

6. One thing I remembered was when one of the pupils from Theale dressed up as a PIG!!!!!!!!! Maybe in the future, we could see Andy Cope again and make England become EPIC ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!
